Wish comes true
I always wanted to go to a sunflower field and stand within it!! I done it today at Milton (a 10 mins drive from our place in Cambridge) plus we also went to Pick Your Own (PYO) Strawberry farm
What is this?? A big field of sunflower!!
Sunflower field in Milton, Cambridgeshire. Never realise there was one until last Friday when my colleague drove past it.
Wish come true!
Big Sunflower
Field of sunflower
Just love it too much that I must put it in blog.
Pick you own Strawberry farm.
Happy me!!
In the end, we picked 2 basket of strawberry and it cost us £5.73.

Many uses of Dettol
It was too hot and muggy since last week in UK. Can't stand it cos the work place I'm in doesn't have any air-con and back home, we live in top floor, thus VERY, VERY hot!!!
Sam can't stand it and kept complaining about being sticky (due to the humidity). I suggest that he use abit of Dettol in his shower and he stare at me as thought I was talking nonsense.
Of course, Dettol can be use for personal hygiene!!! My mom use to mix it for me, no sure why though (maybe that was before Dettol shower form was introduced in Singapore). Pity that the shower foam wasn't sold in UK!!!
After using Dettol in our shower, we felt refresh and smell 'disinfected'.
Highly recommended, provided you love the smell.

Twice yearly event
Yes, it's the Next sale. It had become a tradition for us to wake up at about 4am to go to Next sale which starts at 5am. Again Sam & I had bought over 100 pounds each, will sort out later which are to be refund.
This year, after the sale, we drove to Heathrow Airport to pick up Roy who's here for a day. Think Sam and Roy had a wonderful time drinking and talking nonsense at the pub, each had about 5 or 6 pints and are now sleeping (very soundly) while I'm typing this waiting for my hair to dry before I go to bed.
Nice to meet up with old friends.

Baggage claim
Update on my post earlier regarding our rucksack being damaged during check-in, we got the compensation on Friday (7/7/06) through the post. EasyJet paid us the full value of the rucksack (cos we only bought it in early 2006) and I got to say that they were fast in replying (replied within 1 week, well, I thought this will take ages).
Happy that we got the compensation but shall we buy a new rucksack with this money or shall we repair it??

Prague trip
Met up with Naomi and her hubby at Prague last weekend (Sat to Tue). As usual, we booked the cheap flight flying out of London Stansted and woke up at 2.30am on Sat (might as well don't sleep).
Arrived in Prague at about 9++am and realised that the checked-in rucksack was damaged!!! 3 torn and the back system metal was bent! Filed a damaged report and had faxed over all documentations yesterday (Friday) to Easyjet for claim, now just hope to get some compensation.
First day, waited for Naomi & hubby to arrive and catch up on shopping and chatting. So long never met her and I felt so bad that I didn't go back for her wedding :(
So where did we go??
Astronomical Clock
Nothing much to see, but still got to see cos it's a tourist attraction.
Market Square
Due to World Cup, there a big screen mount at the Market Square. Luckily, we didn't book any hotel near there.
Charles Bridge
Too hot, it was more that 30 degree cel and we were 'melting'.
Prague Castle
He's not hot despite the hot weather??? Impressive.
It's walking up slope to the Prague Castle but it was worth it because of the spectacular view of Prague city.
Petrin Hill
Thought of taking the Funicular railway up to the Hill but the railway was under maintenance service so got to climb up!!!
The tower is a fifth the size of Effel tower and we still got to climb 299 steps up, it's all about climbing in Prague. Go to Prague when you are young, if not you miss out alot!!
Food
Food and beers are cheaper in Prague than in UK, a pint of beer is about 35 Czeh which is less than 1 pound. For food, most of them are too salty for our taste, seems like salt are free to them.
On our last night, we had dinner at Blatnicka and the food was great and cheap. Sam loves the Pork knuckle there, highly recommended but you got to wait at hour for them to cook it. He can't wait to eat it.
