九层糕

Steamed the kueh today using this recipe, however I'm using creamed coconut pack, thus it's abit more oily than usual.

9 layers and a red top layer as requested by Sam.

I suppose you have 8 different bottles of edible colourings for that? U missed Singapore food huh....the ERP gantry was so convincingly similar. Whhahaa omg!
The only time I tried to make food was cooking soya bean milk tang yuan and double boiled steam milk.
Its nice. I like cooking. But my time are spend in studio more than kitchen

I only have 3 colour and 1 pandan paste (green), mix them up for other colour lor.

Definitely miss Singapore food, the ERP was very convincing and the whole event definitely makes you miss home. Plus all the food are free!!!

I only try new recipe when I'm extremely free but do try to cook dinner every night. No choice as it's cheaper than to eat out.

wow...u mix the colourings...that is so smart! You guys paid for some kind of registering fees I suppose? That's why there are free lunches...hehehe
Yeah, I get where you are coming from. 6 weeks in states. we cooked most of the time and its enough to convince me that I should stay in singapore. I can cook, I am just lazy. WAHHAHA!

Need to register for the SG Day event but no fee to pay. Guess the whole idea was to make you miss home and return back to SG.
