Last picture with Crispin
About a month ago, Crispin starts to wee in-house even though he's a house-trained dog. We thought he had his usual urine infection and took him to see the vet. His weight dropped from his usual 26kg to 22.5g when he was weighted at the vet, which is worrying as labrador should be minimum of 25kg.

Got some medicine from vet and we also give him abit more food. However the medicine doesn't seems to work and he's not eating much (more worrying as labrador love food!).

Took him for a blood test a week later and the test results came up clean. However we can spend 700 pounds to get more test results in aid to find out what's wrong (there's a chance you will not find out what's wrong).

As he's getting weaker each day, not eating much, drinking excessive water, he can't stand straight on his back legs anymore, seems to lost control over wee and poo, we decide that it might be better for him to be put down........ He's last weigh was 20.5kg at the vet.

Sad day but it's for the best.

Crispin will always be our number 1 top dog who listen to us, doesn't bark, lick, jump, destroy things. Forever in our memory.....

Sorry to hear that...Was he on Fenbenadazole?
From the clinical symptoms...seemed like a protozoa infection that is not able to be detected by blood, stool or urine test. My rabbit was suspected to be infected. Vet put her on Fenbenadazole. Lucky she responded well enough to the medication. But she still lose her balance and she pees outside her cage when she is potty trained. My bunny dropped from 900g to 650g.

But crispin is old and he is a lucky dog to find a loving adoptive home to be able to go in peace...good doggy...
