The concert of the year

The gates at Hyde park was open at 12pm and the concert starts at 2pm. Saw on the news that there were people queuing overnight but realised we will be too tired the next day if we do that so we decided to be there early the next day. We were there at about half ten in the morning but already there were mountains of people!!
Squeezing through........

When we finally got in, we went straight to the souvenir store and grabs some T-shirts before finding ourselves a great spot. Didn't really fancy squeezing up front with no where to sit so we grab on this plot of land and mark our territories by spreading our things wide! (hehe!)

2 brave souls not knowing what they got themselves into with the concert from 2pm to 11pm (9 hours!!), a difficult route to the toilet and the adventure of finding back your location from the toilet break...

We can see the artist on the stage from our location but they looked very small so most of the time, we rely on the big screen in front and at the back of us.

Towards the end of the concert, I was getting very restless and tired... Fortunately, Robbie William & The Who were there to liven things up (PS : Those who don't know The Who, their songs are the theme for CSI). Although I'm not a fan of them, I must say that they were one of the best artist of the day. Great songs and atmosphere!!

We stayed until about 11pm and decided to go before the concert ended to avoid the crowd. The road outside Hyde Park was closed and no transport was available so we walked home. Tired but enjoyable day, all in the name of Live 8
